If you're anything like us, you are itching to find fun things to keep busy during these summer months.  You're probably googling away, in seach of family events, fun evenings with girlfriends and probably a good surfing instruction along the Jersey Shore.

Never fear!  Clean Ocean Action is here to help!

Over the next several months, there will be a number of opportunities for you to get out, enjoy an adult beverage, attend a book signing, fine-tune your sun salutation and learn to surf--all while doing it for a great cause, COA!

Girls Night Out Book Signing ~ Thursday, June 16, 2011, 7:30pm, River Road Books, Fair Haven, NJ.  Meet Mary Kay Andrews and pick up a new beach book, Summer Rental, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to COA.  Cocktails and nibbles will be served.

Imaginocean Benefit Show ~ Wednesday, July 20, 2011 (TBD- Week of July 18) – details to be confirmed

Summa Love Surfing and Yoga Surf Camp ~ Sunday, August 13, 2011, 1:00-3:00pm,

Phillips Avenue, Deal, NJ

.  Join us for a surfing clinic to benefit COA.  

Yoga Mala ~ Sunday, - September  18 , 4pm - 8pm, Sea Bright Public Beach, NJ (Municipal building in the case of rain) Global Mala Jersey Shore will bring together 100+ yogis on the Sea Bright Beach to hold a yoga marathon! Each yogi will complete 108 sun salutations.  Donations will be collected in order to participate.

Sunset at Sandy Hook ~ Friday, September 23, 6-10pm, Sea Gull’s Nest Deck Restaurant, Sandy Hook, NJ.  Enjoy live music, fabulous restaurants all while helping raise important funds for our ocean protection work.  Tickets $100 per person.
