New Jersey Water Monitoring Coordinating Council Meeting 2/6

The Barnegat Bay Partnership (BBP) is co-sponsoring a technical meeting with the New Jersey Water Monitoring Coordinating Council (NJWMCC) on Wednesday, February 6 in the Arts and Community Center Theatre at Ocean County College.

The purpose of the meeting is to share technical information from the latest water quality research and monitoring in Barnegat Bay.  Presentations will be directed to an audience with science and technical backgrounds and not the general public.  However, the public is welcome to attend.  

There is a great mix of presentations from researchers and managers from federal, state, and academic institutions.  Click here for an agenda.

If you would like to attend, RSVP by Monday, Feb. 4 to mjudge@ocean.edu and include your name, organization, and BBP affiliation (Policy, AC, STAC) if applicable.  

In addition, BBP are happy to offer boxed lunches available from The River Market for $10, which includes a sandwich, chips, small apple, cookie, and a drink.  Sandwich choices are as follows:

            1) Portobello Mushroom Club with Roasted Red Peppers, Arugula, Tomato and
                 Mozzarella cheese with a Herb Mayonnaise on Ciabatta Roll

2) Roasted Turkey and Cheddar Cheese with Lettuce and Tomato on Baguette, and

3) Black Forest Ham and Swiss on Baguette with Lettuce and Tomato

If you are interested in purchasing a boxed lunch, please provide your sandwich choice in the email when RSVP’ing; there will be no “morning of” availability.  Payment will be due the morning of the meeting at check-in.  You are also welcome to bring your own lunch if you prefer.
