Run The Hook

As has become a tradition thanks to Trustee, Joey Garofalo, COA celebrated Mother Ocean this past Mother’s Day on Sandy Hook with a sold out Run The Hook event! Proceeds from the race benefit COA’s work to keep our ocean wild and pollution free! It was a beautifully sunny day with 1,400 runners ready to go the distance for the ocean with their families present to support. Waves of thanks to all the true blue ocean advocates—especially, the many Moms and sponsors who came out to spend the morning advocating to protect the ocean!
