Join us as we celebrate and raise funds for clean water in our region.  We are thrilled to announce Clean Ocean Action has been chosen as the Northeast regional partner for Aveda Earth Month 2011! 

Since 2007, COA has been the beneficiary of countless hair cut-a-thons, walks for water, fashion shows, bake sales, dog walks and more as part of the Aveda Earth Month campaign. Last year over $115,000 was raised to support COA’s work, and incredibly Aveda met their $3.9 million 2010 goal for clean water projects across the globe.  What began as a day of awareness became $14 million raised for the Earth.

Aveda has been making products with certified organic ingredients since 1994. The company is one of the largest purchasers of organics in the personal care industry, setting an example for others to follow: 90% of their essential oils and 89% of their raw herbal ingredients, by tonnage, are certified organic.
