Join Clean Ocean Action and State Radio
for a Beach Sweep on Saturday November 3rd!
Before their Stone Pony show, join members of State Radio, an alternative rock band with politically charged lyrics, and local fans for a pre-show service project with Calling All Crows and Clean Ocean Action in Asbury Park! Volunteers will contribute to a global effort of collecting valuable research and cleaning the beach along the way.
Calling all Crows is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization that works for a future when the success of live music is measured not only by ticket sales, but by the impact of fans and musicians mobilizing together to make a difference in the world. Calling All Crows organizes events before concerts that ask volunteers to roll up their sleeves to address pressing issues like hunger, gender equality, education and the environment. By using service as a solution, they build community by leveling the playing field between musician and fans. Founded in 2008 by musician Chad Stokes (Dispatch, State Radio) and tour manager Sybil Gallagher, Calling All Crows has raised over $250,000 and invested more than 20,000 hours of service in local communities across North America and Europe. In Asbury Park, Calling All Crows has organized a beach clean up with Clean Ocean Action and State Radio.
Space for the cleanup is limited and a $5 non-refundable donation is required to help support the mission of Clean Ocean Action and to reserve your spot at the project. Tickets are available online for State Radio’s concert at The Stone Pony on Saturday night.
