Volunteer at the 31st Annual Fall Beach Sweeps

With school back in session, memories of summer days spent on the beach feel long gone. Luckily, Clean Ocean Action’s 31st Annual Fall Beach Sweep is the perfect excuse to get back to the beach and help our waterways! Join family and friends and join us at one of over 70 sites in New Jersey on Saturday, October 22nd from 9am-12:30pm. Volunteers will collect and document the debris found, and data will be compiled in our Annual Beach Sweeps report.

Over the years, Beach Sweep volunteers have removed 5.4 million pieces of trash that would have otherwise polluted our oceans, potentially harming marine life. Help keep our ocean and waterways clean. For additional information regarding clean-up locations and to register, please visit
