For two days the Wilson Auditorium of Monmouth
University was filled with talks on coastal resiliency. The DEP in an effort to
begin the process of creating the New Jersey Coastal Resilience Plan held the two-day
conference to begin shaping what the resiliency plan
should look like. The plan, when finalized, will
inform and guide the State’s policies, regulations,
resource allocations, and funding in the coastal
zone to reduce impacts
associated with climate change.
