NJDEP Extends NESE Comment Period, Decision on Coastal Permits Coming in Late September

Based on a flood of public comments, the New Jersey DEP agreed to extend the public comment period to Friday, August 23, 2019 which allowed hundreds more to oppose.  The DEP is still legally obligated to make a decision on the coastal permits for the pipeline by September 25.  All focus now shifts to Governor Murphy.
