The Water Quality Team kicked off the new year with yet another training session to recruit volunteer community scientists to help with the ongoing bacteria monitoring in the Navesink and Shrewsbury River watersheds. The training session was hosted on January 12, 2024, at COA’s office and included a field training for water sampling at Jackson Woods Park. COA is actively seeking community scientists and welcomes interested volunteers to contact Programs@CleanOceanAction.org.
